Dark Sky Construction recently re-shingled my house and separate garage because of wind and hail damage. I was pleased at the company's approach to the project. They explained exactly what they were going to do, and when. Once the work was scheduled they told me when the crew would arrive and how they would proceed. The crew showed up at 6 a.m. and they worked steadily for 12 hours to finish both roofs. They discovered some rotten wood that had to be replaced, and they talked me through it. After they completed the work, they were meticulous with the cleanup. When they finished, the only evidence that they had been there were the new shingles.

The first time Vance knocked on my door, I said, 'No'. Because, how many door-to-door salespeople do you believe or trust!?!? He was pretty adamant he could get most/all of my roof covered by insurance. Still, I didn't have my co-pay and he said he would try in a couple months. He returned. I was still leary, but I agreed to talk. He worked hard at it, and I agreed to have him get a quote (no charge), do ALL of the insurance handling, and have my out-of-pocket be no more than my co-pay. He was not only a man of his word, but became a friend.

If you are looking for a 5+ roofing company to deal with, look no further. Dark Sky is an amazing team! Within 15 minutes of speaking to Vance, he had my insurance company on the phone for our hail damage. The morning that the workers were to start on our roof, they arrived promptly at 6:00 am. By 6:00 pm the same day, the old shingles had been removed, the new roof on, and everything cleaned up outside. It was purely amazing.

Dark Sky Construction did a very good job on our house. It was difficult because of the high wind in our area this year, but they always came back to fix the problem areas when the wind did more damage. They came in a timely manner. We would have no problem calling them again.
